碳基钙钛矿太阳能电池的新进展
【研究背景】
钙钛矿太阳能电池作为第三代太阳能电池,其卓越的性能使它得到了越来越多的关注。随着近几年钙钛矿电池领域的突破性进展, 大面积钙钛矿光伏组件的研制和生产正在逐步成为现实。然而,电池的稳定性和制备过程出现的一些问题依旧限制着钙钛矿太阳能电池组件的大规模商业化生产。碳材料由于其优良的电学、光学、机械性能,被大量应用于稳定高性能单节钙钛矿太阳能电池以及其组件中。
【成果简介】
近日,乔治梅森大学机械工程系董培课题组与电子科技大学郝峰教授团队,回顾并讨论了近几年先进碳材料在单节钙钛矿太阳能电池以及钙钛矿光伏组件中的应用。
综述首先讨论了碳及其同素异形体(富勒烯、碳纳米管、石墨烯等)在单节钙钛矿太阳能电池各功能层的应用。本文除了深入阐述碳材料对大幅度提升单节电池各项性能的机理,还着重分析其憎水性和耐热性在有效增强电池及其组件稳定性中的作用。以钙钛矿层为例,碳材的加入使得其在潮湿和高温条件下依旧保持稳定的原有结构,进而防止了因钙钛矿层分子结构发生改变而引起的效率衰退。基于碳材料带给单节太阳能电池带来的良好性能,综述后半部重点讨论了先进碳材对光伏组件性能的积极影响,并展望了碳材在简化大规模加工过程的巨大优势,和其对未来钙钛矿光伏电池组件产业化的巨大影响。

作者简介
Rui He obtained his master in the Department of Material Science and NanoEngineering from Rice University in 2018 and is currently a Ph.D. student at George Mason University. He is currently working on carbon nanomaterials and polymer materials.
Xiaozhou Huang received his master in Material Science and NanoEngineering at Rice University. He is currently a Ph.D. student at George Mason University. His research focuses on energy and water treatment.
Pei Dong is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering. She obtained her B.S. in Microelectronics from Nankai University and her Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from Rice University. She then did her postdoctoral research in the Department of Materials Science and NanoEngineering at Rice University before joining George Mason University. She was awarded the Franz and Frances Brotzen Fellowship. Her current research interests include design, synthesis and applications of advanced materials in energy and water areas.
